This seminar explores preaching in an ever-changing world. It helps ministers to be conscious of relevance and needs in relationship to their sermons and congregations. Participants will learn how to use the biblical text as a foundation to reach contemporary hearers and show them how to fulfill their God-given purpose in life.

BP2 Biblical and Narrative Preaching This seminar analyzes narrative preaching within the context of biblical preaching. It shows participants how to use the biblical text in story form, which is the dominant form by which we learn. It takes the science of biblical exegesis and promotes preaching as oratorical artwork in an effort to reach contemporary society. Tuesday Only 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
